I look after all my pets the best way I can, in order to keep them in the best possible shape, after they are my companions and, in the case of Dulce nevertheless; at times I see her as my family, she is not as independent as any other street dog, so I have to arrange my schedule to have time to see her and that’s why we spend quite a lot of time together and little by little we have become a small but very loving, human-dog-birds -family.

My Pet .
A several years ago I adopted Dulce Luna Primorosa Masías at an “Adoption Session” sponsored by Garras y Patas Foundation.
There I found Dulce, a very beautiful, two-year-old, female stray (or mongrel) dog. She is a mixed dog and before we came across with each other, she had been given for adoption because her previous owner had got very ill and could no longer take care of her. Luckily, she didn’t spend too much time waiting for someone to take care of her!

She is was a "mature" dog but paradoxically full of energy. She was not trained as a puppy and despite she has some bad habits she has never spoilt it badly inside the flat, the only very big issue with her is that she pulls on the leash, A LOT! she’s always pulling and barking at cats in the streets which is dangerous because a fierce cat could attack her.
Another thing is that she doesn’t have the best fur quality, she's always losing hair and I have to brush her twice a day and since I we moved to the countryside last year, nowadays I brush her once or twice depending on the weather.

Given I have just mentioned I am living down the countryside, I will also mention that apart from Dulce, my pet-human family has now 3 more members. They are birds, in fact they are chicken, I have to hens and one rooster which is the one you can hear in most of classes.
I got the birds for several reasons, the first one is that I always wanted to have chicken-pets and to have my own "natural eggs" and thankfully my hens are laying eggs daily now. And the second reason is that birds are very helpful for the soil quality and I am trying to improve my yard's soil because I would like to have an orchard and grow my own crops.

How cute is your dog teacher! I have to be honest, I never listened that pets could have a very long name hahaha, but she's so adorable. Maybe one day we will meet Dulce Luna in classes? It could be so epic.

Hahaha I was amused by the name! I believe that animals (especially dogs) are the most genuine company that exists. How wonderful to have Dulce's love and that she has hers.
ResponderEliminarHi teacher! Dulce is very very beautiful. It is worth it for her to brush it every day because from the looks of it her hair is beautiful. I'm glad you have chickens and a rooster, I hope it's not a problem for Sunday morning hahaha.

ResponderEliminarHi teacher, I'm so happy you adopted Dulce, she is beautiful and the work of garras y patas foundation is amazing, I had collaborated with temporary home necessities

ResponderEliminarHi, teacher!
ResponderEliminarI'm too glad you adopted her, there are a lot of abandoned puppies who need a family to take care of them:(
"Dulce" reminds me a lot of my dog Ratsha, because going for a walk with her is also usually chaos because she has a lot of energy and wants to eat all the dogs and cats she sees jajajajaj. However, she is a very cuuuute dog. <3
From the photos you shared, I can see that "Dulce" is a very cute and happy dog. I hope she will accompany him for a long time!
Greetings!

ResponderEliminarHi teacher, since I was a little girl I have wanted to have a chick, but my parents never wanted to buy me one :( how nice that you take good care of all your pets, and that they have a big open space to enjoy.
ResponderEliminarHi! I hope you are well, I also adopted my kitten from that foundation haha I took my mum to an adoption day at the mall. I think it's lovely that you have so many pets, I think animals are fabulous and they can teach us a lot and give us a lot of love.
ResponderEliminarits look so pretty your dog! i always wanted to have a dog, i hope when i will have a lot of space i gonna have a dog friend :)
ResponderEliminarPets are the best! They bring joy to life. When I was a little girl I also had a pet chicken, she was very funny because she thought she was the mommy of my baby dogs. (My doggy at that time was not a very good mommy haha).
ResponderEliminarHello Professor! Dulce is very pretty. My dog also loses a lot of hair, I understand perfectly haha!
